Role Summary
Robonetics is looking for an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end human resources functions for its manufacturing operations at Singaperumal Koil. The role will be responsible for recruitment, statutory compliance, payroll and attendance coordination, employee relations, HR policies, training, welfare, and HR administration, ensuring a productive and well-governed workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage manpower planning, sourcing, screening, and interviews for factory and office staff.
- Conduct onboarding, induction, and documentation for new employees.
- Maintain employee master data and personnel files.
2. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage PF, ESI, professional tax, labour welfare fund registrations, renewals, and filings.
- Maintain statutory registers and support internal and external labour audits.
- Track compliance requirements and applicability thresholds as the workforce grows.
3. Payroll & Attendance
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with Accounts/Finance.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and employee records.
- Manage biometric/attendance systems and shift scheduling for shop-floor employees.
4. Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Manage show-cause notices and domestic enquiries.
- Handle resignations, exit interviews, full & final settlements, and relieving formalities.
- Support performance appraisals, increments, and promotion documentation.
5. HR Policy & Governance
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies covering leave, conduct, POSH, whistleblower, and code of conduct.
- Ensure effective communication and acknowledgement of HR policies.
- Support internal circulars, confidentiality agreements, and employee undertakings.
6. Training & Employee Welfare
- Coordinate safety training and skill development programs.
- Support statutory welfare facilities including canteen, first-aid, and restrooms.
- Address employee welfare and workplace safety concerns.
7. HR Administration & Reporting
- Prepare HR MIS reports, headcount trackers, and attrition reports for management.
- Support due diligence, audits, and compliance data requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA-HR preferred.
- 3–7 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Working knowledge of Tamil Nadu labour laws applicable to establishments with 20–100 employees.
- Willingness to work from the Singaperumal Koil plant location, with periodic travel to Chennai as required.
Skils Required
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Factories Act, and Minimum Wages.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, payroll software, and HRMS tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with shop-floor employees and management.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee and company information.
